Our Mission
Abbie's Angels is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to surround caregivers and families in our community with practical help, encouragement, and connection as they navigate complex medical needs with their differently abled children.
Through events, resources, and partnerships with local organizations, we aim to make sure no caregiver feels alone in their hardest seasons.
What We Do
Caregiver Support
Helping families find the right resources during and after a medical crisis, from parking and meal expenses to in-home support services, and equipment. This way they spend less time searching and more time caring.
Events & Gatherings
Host annual events like our Winter Gala to celebrate families, raise awareness, and sustain support programs throughout the year.
Community Outreach
Partner with local hospitals, schools, organizations, and businesses to reach caregivers who need encouragement, financial assistance, and connection to specialized services.

Join us at Salvatore's Hospitality for a night of generosity, stories, and hope.
This year’s Gala will help support Chelsea Campbell, an 8‑year‑old twin and little sister who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in June 2025 and is preparing for a bone marrow transplant on December 22. Please keep Chelsea and her parents, Twan Campbell and JoAnnah Piedmonte, in your thoughts.
One of our board members, Laura Wexler, had the joy of teaching both Chelsea and Abbie when they were babies, making this year’s sponsorship especially close to our hearts.
You can also support Chelsea directly through her GoFundMe: Donate to Chelsea's Journey to Health .
